Since this entire Summit, NJ home was being renovated, Jeffrey Kennedy, of Sawhorse Designs in Millburn, was able to start from scratch, creating a traditional kitchen with simple archcitectural details. The perimeter cherry cabinets feature a stain-glazed finish, while the island with its raised eating area has a sage green antique-painted finish complementing the verde butterfly granite. A hutch next to the refrigerator functions as a "china cabinet" for the adjacent dining room. The flora etched opal galss pendant lights are by Seagull Lighting. The 36 inch Viking cooktop (right) has a Jersualem gold limestone backsplash with hand-painted fruit basket mural.
